У статті викладено опис різних технік і прийомів психотерапевтичних інтервенцій, розглянуто принципи вибору тактики психотерапевтичного лікування. Зазначено особливості та описано основні методи психотерапії, що використовуються для лікування ПТСР. Наведено основні механізми терапевтичного ефекту. Розглянуто методологію та структуру терапевтичного процесу, принципи стадійності надання допомоги та подано опис різних етапів психотерапевтичного лікування з позицій перспективи використання каністерапії
