Метою дослідження був теоретичний аналіз впливу особистісних характеристик на психоемоційні стани дітей із сімей учасників бойових дій. Методологія ґрунтувалася на аналізі наукових джерел із проблеми психоемоційних станів дітей у кризових умовах, особистісних детермінант зазначених станів, сімейного впливу і механізмів адаптації та дезадаптації, що дало змогу шляхом теоретичного аналізу виокремити основні підходи до вивчення проблеми, через порівняння зіставити трактування ключових особистісних чинників, а завдяки систематизації, узагальненню та інтерпретації – визначити взаємозв’язки між особистісними характеристиками, сімейним контекстом і психоемоційними станами дітей. Результати аналізу засвідчили, що психоемоційні стани дітей у воєнних умовах формуються під впливом поєднання стресових і травматичних факторів, які мають як гострий, так і тривалий характер. Встановлено, що тривога, страх, дистрес, емоційне виснаження та посттравматичні прояви утворюють взаємопов’язану систему реакцій, інтенсивність якої зростає внаслідок накопичення стресового досвіду. Показано, що важливу роль відіграють особистісні детермінанти, зокрема тривожність, резильєнтність, самооцінка та емоційна регуляція, які визначають варіативність реагування дітей. Сімейний контекст, включаючи структуру сім’ї, емоційний стан батьків, якість взаємодії та умови розлуки, виступає ключовим посередником впливу війни на дитину. Узагальнення результатів дозволило визначити, що психоемоційні стани дітей учасників бойових дій формуються внаслідок взаємодії особистісних детермінант, сімейного контексту та тривалого воєнного впливу, що зумовлює їх варіативність від адаптивних реакцій до стійких дезадаптивних проявів. Отримані дані можуть бути використані психологами, психотерапевтами, соціальними працівниками, фахівцями системи освіти та сфери психічного здоров’я під час розроблення програм психологічної підтримки, психодіагностичного супроводу і профілактики дезадаптивних станів у дітей із сімей учасників бойових дій
