The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of professional readaptation of demobilized participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation, with a focus on scenario forecasting of the future. Groups of readaptation needs are identified: completed, procedural, and maladaptive. The study highlights scenarios of the imagined future, including: the “Afghan-Chernobyl” scenario, “avoidance of readaptation,” “fear of political change,” and “active dissatisfaction with the government”
