The article highlights the psychological aspects of information analysis within security institutions. The concept of psychological information analysis is defined as an important component of the functioning of security structures under conditions of intensified information and psychological confrontation. The significance, content, and specific features of implementing psychological analysis of information are revealed. Professionally important characteristics of security specialists that determine the effectiveness of their information analysis in professional activities are identified
