This article, through an in-depth analysis of the problem of the influence of faith in God on suicidal tendencies, theoretically substantiates and experimentally confirms the significant anti-suicidal impact of religious faith on the consciousness and behavior of modern Ukrainian students. The study empirically establishes the harmonizing influence of belief in God on the psyche of student youth. It also justifies the specific features of suicide prevention and the psychocorrection of suicide-prone states by means of religious faith, emphasizing the necessity of shaping an attitude to life as the highest human value and perceiving suicide as an encroachment on what is most valuable
