The article presents the protocol of self-help of an individual to reduce the level of anxiety, analyzes the methods of working with the client's anxiety within the psychotherapeutic activity of a psychologist, characterizes the modules of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy in working with clients experiencing anxiety states
