According to the results of an experimental study, the author found that the formation of the emotional component of psychological readiness leads to an increase in the indicators of such personal characteristics as sociability, dominance, normativity of behavior, confidence, self-control, extroversion, and also contributes to the development of socio-psychological characteristics of military teams through an increase in indicators of cohesion, stability, referentiality, reduction of conflict
