The article presents the results of research into the manifestations of characteristic negative psychological reactions that arose in Ukrainian society with the beginning of the large-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The approximate mechanism of their formation and the nature of reflection in interpersonal (intergroup) communications against a military background are described
