The article presents the structure and content of a programme for developing the psychological readiness of military personnel in tank units to perform combat tasks. The programme's goals and objectives were aimed at developing the main components of psychological readiness in military personnel in tank units, namely: cognitive, motivational, emotional-volitional, functional and individual-psychological. The main methods for achieving the objectives were identified as: mini-lectures and information messages, conversations, brainstorming and discussions, game methods (structured and movement exercises, business and role-playing games), viewing video materials, and working with metaphorical associative cards
