The article is devoted to consideration of the problem of increasing the effectiveness of professional training of servicemen in the realities of modern war. The authors determined and analyzed the psychological features of professional training of military specialists in a foreign language communicative environment. The psychological qualities and abilities of a serviceman's personality that affect professional training in a foreign language communicative environment are described and empirically confirmed. The analysis is due to the prospects of joining NATO and the support of the Alliance countries in the current confrontation with Ukraine from the Russian Federation
