The article is devoted to the substantiation of psychophysiological indicators of diagnosis of stress resistance of specialists in extreme professions. In particular, it is noted that the presented methods of assessing stress resistance components based on physiological indicators require the generalization of information, taking into account their selectivity in the assessment of qualities characterizing the selected stress resistance components. According to the presented data, at the beginning of the experiment, the number of subjects with stress-resistant and stress-inhibiting personality types was approximately the same in the control and experimental groups. At the final stage of the experiment, significant differences were noted, which were expressed in the quantitative changes of subjects with an unfavorable socionic personality type of group 2 compared to group 1
