The article presents the results of a study of the dynamics of value preferences of young people in Ukraine during the last decade. It was established that the situation of uncertainty corrects the priority of the values of young people, but does not change their strategic direction. The need to study the impact of the content of information content as a resource that forms meaningful life orientations of young people is indicated
