The article examines the peculiarities of the psychosocial recovery of servicemen after their withdrawal from the area of active hostilities. The possibilities of a comprehensive approach to the provision of psychological and other types of services to military personnel and their family members were analyzed within the framework of the pilot project of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. The importance of psychosocial recovery for the successful readaptation of families of military personnel is considered. The program of comprehensive psychosocial support for military personnel was tested and its results were analyzed. The content of the article is designed to encourage the creation and provision of a high-quality package of psychosocial support services for military personnel and veterans at the stage of leaving the areas of hostilities. The article provides recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of psychosocial support and psychological assistance of the specified category of persons
