The article examines the main factors contributing to the commission of suicides by servicemen called up for mobilization and participating in hostilities and presents recommendations for their prevention through high-quality organization and conduct of professional and psychological selection events and psychological training classes, developed on the basis of the analysis of the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war, personal experience of the authors and the results of the survey of servicemen
