The article examines the main methods of propaganda used for psychological pressure and manipulation of the population by the enemy. The destructive consequences of information influence are analyzed. It is emphasized that mass media are an integral part of the existence of modern society and significantly influence the formation of the worldview and the motivational and value sphere of the individual. Recommendations are provided for identifying destructive information and developing psychological stability regarding its impact
