The article presents the psychocorrective component of the author's psychotechnology for the development of stress resistance of a ship specialist and the results of its experimental verification. According to the results of the work, the resistance to sources of stress of the participants of the experimental group statistically significantly exceeded the resistance to stress of the participants of the control group. Also, the stress resistance indicators of the experimental group increased statistically significantly from the first to retesting. Thus, as a result of the work carried out, it was possible to increase the level of resistance to stress and its sources in the participants of the experimental group. The study also showed the sensitivity of the developed methodology to the study of the dynamics of the studied variables under the influence of psychocorrective measures
