The article presents the results of a study of the psychological and physical readiness of conscripts to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A model of psychological readiness for military service of young men of conscription age is proposed. According to the results of psychological research and physical testing, it can be stated that if you want to serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conscripts do not have enough knowledge and skills regarding actions in extreme situations
