The development of military leadership in the Armed Forces – is a continuous, value-oriented process of improving the professional and personal competence (ability) of a serviceman at all stages of his career. Military leadership is an important condition for the formation of moral readiness of servicemen to perform assigned tasks. The foundations of the formation and development of the moral readiness of military personnel to perform assigned tasks are high-quality education, professional training and acquisition of practical experience, effective management and leadership, which ensures the comprehensive development and professional growth of the personality of military personnel, contributes to increasing the level of responsibility, social activity, awareness of moral and ethical norms and standards of behavior, supports the ability to self-development and the ability to promote the development of subordinate personnel. Based on the results of the conducted research, we will outline recommendations for the implementation of a number of measures that should be implemented in the process of professional training of military personnel in order to increase the moral readiness of military personnel to perform assigned tasks
