The article defines the essence of the concept of nature as a resource of recovery in the conditions of military operations and defines the manifestations of this phenomenon in the self-regulation of mental states. The phases of stress, signs of stress tension, signs of acute stress, primary and secondary means of helping with stress, external and internal resources of the individual are considered in view of the use of nature as a resource of recovery, components of the «BASIC Ph» model regarding the use of means of nature as a resource of recovery
