professional profile; psychogram; professional stress; personnel management; recruiting; peculiarities of professional activity The article examines the results of the study of the peculiarities of the professional activity of employees in the field of personnel management, using the example of IT – employees in the field. According to the results of the author's survey, the peculiarities and current state of development of the field of professions belonging to the class of socionomics and related to the selection of personnel and the formation of professional teams, in particular in the activities of the IT – industry, were clarified. Based on the results of the survey, content analysis of terms and concepts, psychological analysis of the activities of various categories of personnel management workers, the main psychological features of the activities of this category of specialists were determined and a model of professional analysis of their activities was proposed.
