The proposed article examines the description of methods and styles of work of group psychotherapists in state specialized departments of Denmark, Spain and Norway, and also indicates the justification of the results of their work with a therapeutic effect. When reviewing the advantages and disadvantages of the methodology of conducting psychodynamic small groups in the mentioned countries, parallels were drawn regarding the prospects of implementing these methods in Ukraine
