The article examines the practical aspects and problems of implementing the policy of gender equality in the context of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the influence of social processes on the staffing of military organizational structures and the effectiveness of the performance of tasks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The authors identified negative and positive aspects, promising directions and ways of implementing the State Strategy for Ensuring Equal Rights and Opportunities of Women and Men for the Period Until 2030 in the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the current stage of their development, taking into account the experience of hostilities
