This is the first part of a block of two articles under a common title devoted to the creative aspects of information warfare. This article examines the psychological features of Russia's information war against Ukraine, studies the strategies used by the aggressor, means and methods of its conduct. The author analyzes each of the three defined directions of Russian psychological operations, paying the main attention to non-standard creative techniques, in order to further develop effective methods of counter-information struggle
