The article is devoted to the study of motivational strategies and their relationships with the experience of combat stress by military personnel. Motivation has been found to be one of the powerful factors that meaningfully affects the activity of military personnel's behavior. Of particular importance is motivation when performing combat tasks that directly threaten the lives of servicemen. Significant connections have been established between the personal characteristics of military personnel, including the motivation and consequences of military activity
