The article highlights the results of an empirical study aimed at studying the psychological readiness of servicemen of intelligence units to perform combat missions. The key aspects of their readiness for activity in combat conditions are considered, using the analysis of the component structure of the psychological readiness of a scout warrior. In particular, such components as motivational, cognitive-orientational, operational and emotional-volitional components were studied
