The article presents a typology of the psychological well-being of applicants and the definition of the targets of psychological assistance to them depending on the belonging of each to a certain type. Psychological assistance aimed at increasing the level of well-being of applicants should be built taking into account the identified typology, based on the study and development of the strengths of the individual as resources of psychological well-being. The main goals of assistance can be considered the development of the system of mental resources of applicants, the construction of an individual development trajectory, the actualization of personal potential, the expansion of the social network of assistance, the development of subject control of the situation
