Суттєві зміни в безпековому середовищі та в соціо-культурному вимірі людського існування неодмінно спричиняють переструктурування потребово-мотиваційної сфери особистості, що висвітлюється автором у контексті зростання мотиваційного чинника у забезпеченні виконання військовослужбовцями завдань за призначенням. Встановлено, що шлях до ефективної професійної діяльності лежить через розуміння мотивації. Стаття присвячена систематизації наукових поглядів на питання професійної мотивації військовослужбовців з урахуванням досвіду іноземних армій
