У статті розглядається проблема формування та розвитку психологічної теорії критичного мислення у філософсько-психологічній ретроспективі. Висвітлюються основні етапи розвитку концепції критичного мислення в різні історичні періоди філософсько-психологічної думки. Аналізуються зміни в підходах до визначення та розуміння критичного мислення як об'єкта наукового дослідження
