У статті окреслено проблемні питання й потенційні переваги збільшення кількості військовослужбовиць на керівних посадах. Зміни, що відбуваються в концептуалізації лідерства, визначено передумовою для збільшення кількості військовослужбовиць на керівних посадах. Розгляд лідерства як стратегії інтеграції сприятиме формуванню так званого «гібридного лідера», що втілюватиме у собі традиційні чоловічі лідерські якості та найкращі жіночі соціальні навички
