The article outlines problematic issues and potential advantages of increasing the number of female servicemen in leadership positions. The changes taking place in the conceptualization of leadership are defined as a prerequisite for increasing the number of female servicemen in leadership positions. Considering leadership as an integration strategy will contribute to the formation of the so-called «hybrid leader», which will embody traditional male leadership qualities and the best female social skills
