The article provides a theoretical and methodological analysis of the methodological foundations of crisis psychotherapy for individuals experiencing crisis states under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, based on domestic and foreign works. It summarizes the conceptual provisions of crisis psychotherapy regarding the important tasks of introducing scientific psychotherapeutic methods into crisis intervention and the methodological principles of providing psychological assistance to people in crisis situations
