The article addresses the development of psychological readiness for specific professional activities in future psychologists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine during the study of the “General Psychology” course, the opportunities for developing their abilities to work in specific conditions of modern reality, the provision of scientific knowledge, and also highlights their main subjective expectations while studying the general psychology coursea
