The article examines the application of psychodynamic approaches in psychological counseling for issues related to the feeling of guilt. The main focus is on identifying, bringing to awareness, and transforming unconscious tendencies, “tribes,” and conflicts. The psychoanalytic counseling strategy proves effective when working to weaken the client’s “Superego” or to “strengthen” the Ego
