The article presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of professional value orientations of students receiving psychological education. Factors affecting the formation of professional values are analyzed.  The value system of modern students was determined, and the hierarchy of professional values was analyzed. The relevance of students' professional values and the change in their priority during the war are substantiated. The influence of social factors on the formation of the system of professional values is outlined
