The article highlights modern views of the study of ways of influencing the motivational sphere of higher education applicants. The theoretical aspects of the development of the motivational sphere are analyzed. It was determined that influencing the motivational sphere of higher education applicants is one of the tasks for successful training and professional development of applicants
