The article presents the experience of forming and ensuring the psychological stability of US Army servicemen. Attention is paid to the participation of the commander in the formation of stable and effective coping mechanisms in the personnel, aimed at preventing the occurrence of behavioral health problems. Priority programs, approaches, measures, factors, methods to ensure the psychological stability of military personnel are considered
