The article presents the results of implementing a mutual support group method to help spouses cope with divorce. The effectiveness of the method in improving the quality of parenting through awareness and agreement between spouses on the components of parenting has been empirically confirmed. The importance of the specifics of established relationships and working with intra-family conflicts of couples in the process of divorce is demonstrated
