Success in mastering a foreign language is a complex psychological construct that integrates objective and subjective components. Both objective and subjective components of success in mastering a foreign language influence the development of the personality of learners. Thus, the following personality traits are associated with success in foreign language acquisition: emotional comfort, personal anxiety, self-esteem, self-acceptance, flexibility of thinking, motivation to succeed, independence, tension, adaptability, and emotional stability
