Fatigue is a temporary decrease in the working capacity of the body or an organ as a result of intense or prolonged work, which manifests itself in a decrease in quantitative and qualitative performance indicators and a deterioration in adaptation. Fatigue is a multifaceted phenomenon, the understanding of which lies primarily in the realm of physiological and biochemical mechanisms. Everyone experiences fatigue during their lifetime, but more often than others – people in professions that involve prolonged or short-term but very intense physical and mental stress (military personnel, athletes, surgeons, etc.). Understanding the physiological and biochemical mechanisms of fatigue is the basis for the qualitative and timely recovery of the human body
