The article presents the procedure and key issues of conducting a supportive conversation, which is proposed to be used in the activities of combat stress control groups in order to maintain the psychological stability of servicemen in the area of hostilities. The procedure and conditions for testing the developed tool for maintaining psychological stability are described. During the discussion of the results of the approbation, their effectiveness was proven
