The importance of the development of emotional intelligence (EI) of future military psychologists in the system of training specialists in institutions of higher education is considered. In the process of research, it was determined to what extent motivational attitudes, as independent variables, are influential for the formation of EI military psychologist. When forming a model with the specified variables, they turned out to be statistically insignificant. At the same time, it becomes clear that the development of EI future military psychologists should be focused on improving their professional competence in the learning process
