The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of the problem of management styles as an integrative characteristic of the manager's activity. The results of an empirical study of the features of the management style according to the F scale are presented. Fiedler «Least Desired Employee» (LPC). The peculiarities of the behavior of managers, the degree of orientation to tasks and relationships, the effectiveness of the management style in connection with the organizational situation are determined
