Scientific intelligence reveals the issues of organization and provision of emergency psychological assistance to victims in the conditions of mass death of the population as a result of a missile attack on a residential building in the city of Uman. Using the example of the work of psychologists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the peculiarities of professional tasks of providing emergency psychological assistance in the conditions of martial law in the event of mass death of the population are analyzed. The main problems that complicated the work of psychologists in providing psychological assistance are considered; the characteristics of the main measures to stop negative mental states and reactions of victims are given
