The article consists in the theoretical analysis of the manifestations of PTSD in the specified groups, determining common features and differences in the occurrence of PTSD. Literature analysis and systematization of knowledge were carried out. The importance of diagnosing PTSD is discussed, emphasizing the symptoms that can be found in different categories of people. It is emphasized that although war has a general devastating effect on mental health, reactions to injuries in the military and civilians can vary significantly
