The article characterizes the psychological component of the adaptation of forced Ukrainian migrants in European countries, substantiates the impact on the socio-psychological adaptation of subjective attitudes as an integral personal characteristic of refugees. The technique of color metaphors for diagnosing a sample of forcibly displaced persons abroad has been developed and adapted. The specifics of the system of emotional attitudes and needs of forced migrants abroad have been empirically revealed
