The article updates the problem of researching addictive behavior, deprofessionalization of specialists, prevention of dependent behavior of military personnel as factors of their deprofessionalization. The main strategies (models) of building prevention, approaches to the choice of preventive technologies are considered. The coordination principles of preventive work are determined. General approaches to the types of addiction prevention in military personnel (primary, secondary, tertiary), their essence and features of application are substantiated
