The article examines the problem of psychological training of military personnel as an important factor in their professional readiness to perform tasks in stressful conditions. The essence and content, the main components of psychological preparation for hostilities are analyzed: principles and tasks of its implementation, methods, forms. The importance of psychological training to ensure the effectiveness of collective activity and support the personal and mental development of military personnel is noted. The role of a military psychologist in ensuring the psychological competence of military personnel is considered. Formulated theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations regarding directions for improving psychological training in modern conditions
