В статті проаналізовані психологічні засади розвитку лідерських якостей у командирів військових підрозділів Збройних Сил України, які визначають провідну функціональну роль лідерства у командирів, найбільше впливаючи на загальну ефективність її функціонування через утвердження нових моделей поведінки, процедур, принципів і цінностей. Лідерство відображає здатність командира до самостійного й адекватного узгодження зовнішніх і внутрішніх умов діяльності для досягнення оптимального способу вирішення професійних завдань
