Психологічними ресурсами переживання ситуацій різного ступеня невизначеності є життєстійкість, самоактивація та різні стилі подолання. Ресурси життєстійкості та самоактивації більш виражені у ситуаціях із меншим ступенем невизначеності. Когнітивно-поведінковий стиль подолання є найбільш часто використовуваним усіма групами, рідше використовується соціально-емоційне подолання, ще рідше - уникаюче подолання. У разі переживання глобального виклику домінує соціально-емоційний стиль подолання, а усі психологічні ресурси є значно вищими, ніж за інших типів викликів
