The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of women’s leadership as a socio-psychological phenomenon in contemporary Ukraine. The psychohistorical features of the development of female leadership in the context of Ukrainian statehood are characterized. The study explores the peculiarities of public perceptions regarding the socio-demographic parameters of the image of male and female politicians
